PR March summary of Internet display advertising
In March 2012, the advertisers have used the Internet display advertising space in the amount of 393 million CZK, according to list of prices values. Month- to-month increase in investments was nearly 12 %. The leader is Telefónica O2 Czech Republic with purchase of Internet display advertising in the amount of 10.6 million CZK. PR One computer is not enough
More than a third of Czech households use the Internet access on two or more computers. The most popular is connection via wi-fi and the most used browser is Internet Explorer. Information is based on Structural exclusive continual research (SEKV), which MEDIARESEARCH carries out for the Association of Internet Advertising.

In February 2012 the advertisers have used Internet advertising space in the amount of 348 million CZK according to list of prices values. Month-to-month increase in investments was nearly 50 %. The leader is Tchibo that purchased Internet display advertising in the amount of 12.2 million CZK. PR Admosphere: Czech magazines published advertising in the amount of 7 billion CZK in 2011
The total list of prices value of advertising space in magazines in 2011 reached 6.99 billion CZK. According to the advertising investments monitoring by Admosphere the advertisers have used 49 464 pages. So-called Supplements, the print attachments to newspapers’ formats, are not included among magazines.
PR: Digitalization accelerated modernization of TV technology in Czech households
Czech households’ television facilities renew as a result of the gradual digitalization of television broadcasting. According to the Continual Survey which MEDIARESEARCH carries out for Association of Television Organizations (ATO), 10 % of TV households have at least one plasma-screen television and more than a fifth of TV households own Full HD television. More than 4 % of television households own a TV that supports Internet connection.
PR: In the end of last year the number of Czech Internet users reached 6 million; 94 % of them are connected at least once a week
According to the results of NetMonitor, the number of Czech Internet users increased in second half of 2011 to 6 million and so far it is stable . Number of average page views is more than 400 million higher than in 2010. 94 % of users are online at least once a week. The high-speed wireless connection is used most often.
