Czech Internet audience in September 2010
Czech Internet audience in September have stabilized after previous record month. Internet servers participated into the project NetMonitor were visietd by 5,61 millions of users in the CR in September. Users spent in average 24 hours and 41 minutes surfing.
PR Digital TV channels are received by almost everyone thanks to DVB-T
Process of digitalization increased availability of digital TV channels almost to the level of broadcasting ones. Channels transmitted in multiplexes 1 and 2 (ČT4, ČT24, TV Barrandov, Nova Cinema and Prima COOL) are already received by four fifths of television population older than 4 years. Channels of multiplex 3 (Public TV, Z1) are received every second person.

PR Do you have the Internet connection speed under 2,4 Mbit? Then you are minority
Nearly three fifths of the Internet population in the CR uses Internet connection speed of more than 300 kB/s (2,4 Mbit/s). Generally the shares of users with different connection speeds quite levelled. The fastest connection over 750 kB/s (6,0 Mbit/s) is typical mainly for towns with more than 20 000 inhabitants. Within the project NetMonitor – Czech Internet audience monitoring - in the socio-demographic part of the research in July 2010 participated 24 090 respondents.
PR Record August – Internet audience increased importantly
Czech Internet audience registered the strongest month by month increase in history. Internet servers participating in the project NetMonitor were visited by 5,54 million users in the CR in August. Users spent in average 24 hours and 52 minutes surfing. It is the highest August audience so far from the start of the project (2005).
PR Admosphere: Advwertisers were saving this summer
The advertisers were saving in July and August 2010. The investments into advertising decreased by one fifth (in month by month comparison) already in June. In July the advertising space registered decline of 35 %, but in August the advertising costs already slightly increased.
