PR Men feed the family, only a little cooperate on the care of children and household
The traditional household model still predominate in Czech households. The care of children and households is dominantly done by women, while men are the family feeders. Incomes of men are generally higher. Men are also partly unhappy with the parenthood support, but at the same time they don't use all advantages offered by employers. It is showed in the sociology research „Forms of fatherhood in the Czech Republic“, which is carried out by MEDIARESEARCH for the Ministry of work and social affairs.
Video on the Internet
The results of media researches confirm that thanks to the increasing equipment of Czech households and increasing offer of video-content (films, videos, television programmes) increases also the Internet consumption. The aim of this study is to bring more detailed results about where, when and what videos, films or programmes people watch on the Internet together with the information about how do the video servers´visitors respond (including television webs) to the advertising on these web sites.
PR Number of analogue households decreases, main increase is in DVB-T
According to the last phase of Continuous research (January-March 2010) still decreases number of households using terrestrial analogue transmission of TV, it is related to the increase of use of DVB-T. Using satellite and cable reception rather stagnates lately. Continuous research is carried out by MEDIARESEARCH for ATO within the Project of Electronic Measurement of TV Audience.
PR Czech Internet audience stagnated in April 2010
Internet servers participating in the Project NetMonitor were visited by 5,6 million users in the Czech republic in April. In average the users spent 2 hours and 45minutes less surfing than in March. Project of the Czech Internet audience monitoring is carried out by MEDIARESEARCH for SPIR.
PR CSSD leads in the total of investments into advertising in election campaign, on the Internet leads ODS.
With upcoming Parliament elections political parties spend more and more money for their campaigns. The most invested into advertising CSSD - 115,3 million CZK (in price-list prices) in April. In Internet campaign leads ODS though. The data come out of monitoring of investments in advertising of company Admosphere.
PR Television in the year 2020 – Internet and 3D
Within the omnibus research the agency MEDIARESEARCH asked respondents, how they imagine television in the year 2020. Most frequently required functionalities are possibility of Internet connection, projection in 3D and usage of television as universal multi-media centre. 998 respondents older than 15 years participated in this Internet netpanel research.
