PR Users want well-aranged, actual and trustworthy news on the Internet
MEDIARESEARCH agency carried out netpanel omnibus survey on topic Internet press service. The first part of the survey compared the popularity of seven Czech news servers on the basis of selected parameters and identified the importance of different factors for the visitors. In the research there were interviewed 607 respondents representing the Czech internet population.
PR Internet as a source of specialized information for half of the users
According to current NetMonitor data, project of Czech Internet traffic and sociodemography measurement, the size of the Internet population crossed the 5.5 million people. Almost two fifths of users have extra knowledge of working with computer and Internet. 95 percent of users use the computer mainly for searching Web pages and required information.
PR More than 90 % of Internet population has experience with online shopping
In September 2009 MEDIARESEARCH in cooperation with Association for Electronic Commerce provided survey on awareness and usage of online shops. Research focused mainly on knowledge of online stores, the frequency of shopping and buying habits in the target group of Czech Internet users.
PR Improved Measurement of the Internet audience in the CR by the New Methodics
From October 2009 Internet audience measurement project in the Czech Republic - NetMonitor changed reporting of data according new methodics. The result of cooperation between the submitter of the project SPIR and provider MEDIARESEARCH is methodics enhancing sociodemography estimates on the Czech Internet. Extension of the target group of users from 12-79 years to 10+ caused an increase in values of audience indicators.
PR The Reaction of the Households to the Changes in TV Broadcasting
Within the transition to digital terrestrial broadcasting in the CR next changes took place in August and September 2009 - in České Budějovice (switch on of the digital broadcast networks 2 and 3 on the transmitter Kleť) and in Trutnov (CT2 analogue switch-off and turn-on of the digital broadcast network 1 on the transmitter Černá hora). Next wave of the Monitoring of the transition to digital broadcasting, which implements the company MEDIARESEARCH in cooperation with STEM / MARK for the Association of television organizations, caught the reaction of households in these regions to the changes in broadcasting.
PR Newspapers and magazines lead the local news among other media types
On the occasion of the project MEDIA MONDAY (regular meetings with the intention of sharing information and experience in the field of media and ICT) MEDIARESEARCH in cooperation with TUESADAY Business Network prepared survey on the netpanel of internet respondents. Research in October 2009 was focused on the use, satisfaction and involvement of target groups in regional and local media types.
