We support projects that are close to us and make sense to our employees as well as society as a whole.
Our employees’ teams support a non-profit institution ONKO Unie through their participation in the sport competition, ‘NAD kilometres’, that is traditionally held by Nielsen Admosphere. ONKO Unie supports patients with gynaecological cancers.
In 2021, teams covered 66,524 km together and for each kilometer, ONKO Unie received 25 Czech halers, which amounted to 16,631 CZK.
The missionof JA Czech is to provide young people with practical economic education, develop their knowledge and skills, inspire them and encourage their activeapproach to life so they are well-prepared for entering the labour market. For the Czech branch, Nielsen Admosphere carries out exclusive online surveys focused on business.
In spring 2016, we supported the activities of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague and became partners of the project of preservation and public access of St. Wenceslas rotunda in Malá Strana in Prague. It was discovered during the reconstruction of the faculty in 2004 after 376 years of being considered lost. In 2020, a book on the rotunda was published in the CR.
Colleagues in our subsidiary Adwind Software have been sponsors of the beautiful red-cowledcardinal in the Prague ZOO since the summer 2014. This little red-headedbird can be found particularly in the woods of South America. Thanks to its attractive colouring and calm nature it is also commonly bred in households.
We operate the web page www.peoplemeter.eu for everyone looking for answers regarding peoplemeters and television audience measurement itself. We also regularly do lectures on television audience measurement and media research at the University of Economics in Prague and in Jindřichův Hradec. We organize educational tours at our company headquarters in Prague-Žižkov.
Since 2010, we have been supporting Projekt Nadace Charty 77 – Počítače proti bariérám (Computers against barriers). In addition to a contribution from Nielsen Admosphere itself, we add the sum of all rewards for participation in surveys which our respondents voluntarily give up for charitable purposes.
Members of our online panels (known as European National Panels, or Czech National Panel in CZ), which we co-own, actively use the opportunity to donate their earnings from competing surveys to charities and non-profit institutions.
